Cincinnati Job Corps

Did you know that the Job Corps program offers a career pathway for 10 Industries with recognized credentials right here in Ohio?    Students meeting criteria can then continue on to one of Job Corps Advanced Training programs.

Job Corps is a free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. For eligible young people  16 – 24 years of age that qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life.  These youth may have dropped out of high school or have graduated and chosen not to pursue college at this time.

How do I get started?  That’s the easy part.  Give Kirk Lynch a call at (513)-401-2486 and he will give you the time and place of an Information Session nearest to your location.  His office is at the OhioMeansJobs Center in Cincinnati. An Admissions Counselor can also travel for group presentations to your location.  Youth can also go online at www.recruiting.jobcorps.gov to begin an application and an Admissions Counselor will then make contact.
