For Veterans and Other Job Seekers
- Do you want to work for the Department of Veteran Affairs?
- Do you know how to look for their current job postings?
- Have you tried in the past to navigate the application process but felt overwhelmed?
Then this workshop is for you!
This two hour workshop will provide tips for searching for a VA job as well as how to apply so that your resume/application is noticed. Presented by Mark Berninger, Regional Veteran Employment Specialist, Veteran Employment Services Office, Department of Veterans Affairs.
WHAT TO BRING: If you have one, a copy of your DD214 and your résumé and don’t forget to bring something for taking notes.
Seating is limited to 50 participants and will be on a first come, first served basis, with Veterans given preference.
